Reviews: Chapter 1

freewebtemplates.com - sites with popup windows suck. I don't care what the content or products are, sites like these just suck. I warn you now, if you click on that link, you'll get more than 3 popup windows immediately. Because of this, the site isn't even worth any further review.

www.steves-templates.com - this is a nice and clean site, and I particularly like the spinning flower object in the upper left corner. The free templates that they offer appear to be their own designs, which are painfully simple, novice and boring. They are free, however, and I am sure are very useful if you just need to put up a temporary simple site while you are waiting for the real one to be built. Their "professional" sites are Template Monster templates. I will nickname these kind of templates "Monsters". Don't get me wrong... TemplateMonster offers a huge selection of very creative and well-designed templates. They are indeed top-notch and I do like their level of expertise and creativity. However, they have such a vast amount of resellers, that the same "Monster" templates are being sold everywhere, and it seems 75% of the sites listed on Google as website template sites are simply reselling these same "Monster" templates. steves-templates.com is another one of these "Monster" templates sites.
